New Richardson ad up--it's another good one

Noneed4thneed is going to have to explain to me how to embed a YouTube video. Meanwhile, here is a web link to the latest edition in Bill Richardson's "job interview" ad series:

    http://www.youtube.c...

He focuses on what he did as governor of New Mexico regarding global warming and renewable fuels.

Environmentalists are an important voting bloc in Democratic primaries. I know some environmentalists for Edwards and some for Obama, but most are undecided. I think many would consider Richardson as well, so he is smart to be emphasizing this aspect of his resume.

    Looks like Richardson is making this a four-way race. (0.00 / 0)

He’s running a good campaign, obviously aided by his strong resume.  I also saw the first Richardson bumper sticker in my neighborhood the other day.  (We now have one Obama, one Hillary and one Richardson in my neck of the woods.) This may become a really exciting primary season.  My only concern is that the anti-Hillary votes will be split and she will capture the nomination because of that.

Also, some interesting polling statistics (Washington Post-ABC poll): “Clinton drew support from 61 percent of women who had at most a high school degree, compared with 18 percent for Obama. By contrast, female college graduates were more evenly split: 38 percent said they preferred Clinton, and 34 percent backed Obama. (Twelve percent said they supported Edwards.)

    I know several people considering Richardson (0.00 / 0)

I think they are waiting to see if he will be viable, which I think he will be.

The biggest danger for Edwards is that if Richardson makes a big move in Iowa, that might overshadow even a win by Edwards (e.g. if Richardson finished second).

I would like to see Richardson in the top tier so that he can be more thoroughly vetted by the media before voting starts.
