Recently Biden was invited by Bruce Rastetter to be a part of the "Ag Summit" he is hosting with corporate ag interests.  It has been discussed a little regarding whether it would be wise or detrimental for the Vice President to attend this specific gathering because of the invitor and the attendies.  If the VP comes to Iowa I hope he meets with farm interests that represent farmers like the Farmers Union, Dallas County Farmers and Neighbors, or the Iowa Alliance.  Even more recently Joni Ernst has invited the Secretary of the EPA to Iowa to see the impact of EPA regulations on farmers.  If he accepts the invitation, I am sure she will introduce him to many corporate ag interests, but few farmers.  Again an invitation to the secretary to meet the people that suppport the EPA efforts is in order.  We can tour any of the 600+ impaired waterways and introduce him to various neighbors who have fallen victim to confinements.
