    I don’t know much about most of the districts discussed.

    However, I don’t believe Gronstal will face a serious challenge in 2008.

    I also can’t see Lundby’s seat being vulnerable unless she retires. I don’t think the wackos could take her out in a primary.

    I live near Urbandale, and I completely disagree with listing Brad Zaun as vulnerable in any way. The Democrats had a very strong candidate, Laura Sands, running against Zaun when that seat was open (the Democrat had retired). The party put huge resources into that race, and Zaun just crushed her. It was something like 58-42. Now he is an entrenched incumbent, and that seat is his as long as he wants it.

    I believe that if the party had put less money behind Sands, we might have won another close race in 2004 and taken back the Senate that year.
