  • Economics of Ethanol

    Might be sort of complex but still a vital question:  If ethanol is a big part of the future energy mix, how long do you think it will be appropriate or even budgetarilly sustainable to maintain the current combination of 51 cent per gallon subsidy for domestic production combined with a 54 cent per gallon tariff on imported ethanol?
