Iowa needs Melissa Vine in Congress

State Representative Ken Croken is a Democrat representing Iowa House district 97.

During my time in the Iowa legislature, I’ve learned that voters want a compassionate representative who will fight for them. That’s why I am proud to support Melissa Vine for Iowa’s third Congressional District.

Melissa’s commitment to Iowa’s working families mirrors the priorities I’ve advocated for through my public service. Her connection to the needs of Iowans isn’t just about policies: it’s personal. As the Executive Director of The Beacon, a facility and programming for women recovering from trauma, she has first-hand experience with the daily struggles many Iowans face in our state. This deep-rooted connection to our community distinguishes her as a candidate.

For me, Melissa embodies the values we should ask of our elected officials. Her pledge to strengthen accountability, improve communication and increase transparency in government reflects her commitment to the principles important to all of us. Through her own experiences, Melissa understands the struggles many Iowans face and she will bring a fresh perspective to Iowa’s third district.

Melissa will fight to protect women’s reproductive freedom, work to lower costs for working families, ensure that every Iowan has access to quality healthcare they can actually afford and provide aid to our rural communities. Please join me in supporting Melissa Vine for Congress. Together, we can strive towards a brighter future for Iowa.

  • interesting race

Should be an interesting race in the 3rd. If Vine hopes to actually win she should run toward the center and not listen to the woke/Hamas fringe wing of the party.
