My husband grew up in NJ, and his parents still live there.
I know that many people living in larger states object to Iowa’s lead role in the nominating process. In our defense, I will say that Iowans give all the candidates a fair shake and have made this a real contest rather than a coronation. It was nice to hear from some of the Obama volunteers and staffers in NJ that they appreciate the work Iowans are putting into this campaign.
