In looking over Latham's latest FEC Report, there is a $5,000 contribution from the SEIU, the Service Employees International Union. WTF? That is the max a PAC can give in the Primary. Why are they supporting him over any of the DEMS running? Is he that pro union?

I don't think he is pro-union at all
I don’t think he ever voted against the GOP leadership in Congress, and we know how pro-union they are.
I have no idea what is going on with that contribution. He does bring a lot of money to the district–maybe he did something for some hospitals?
I hope someone with more information weighs in on this thread.
